Responsibilities
- Build and extend AI agent capabilities across service, claims, and operations.
- Develop and maintain APIs connecting AI vendors to various platforms.
- Participate in vendor evaluation spikes and contribute to go/no-go decisions.
- Build data export pipelines from AI vendor platforms into the data warehouse.
- Instrument integrations with meaningful metrics for cost-to-serve reporting.
- Contribute to go-live operations including routing configuration and traffic management.
- Participate in OnCall rotation for incidents during US business hours.
- Grow under the mentorship of senior and staff engineers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in service-oriented architectures.
- Postgres or equivalent relational database experience.
- AWS experience including cloud infrastructure and deployment.
- Comfort with third-party vendor SDKs and APIs.
- Strong debugging instincts across distributed systems.
- Familiarity with test-driven development principles.
- Metric-driven mindset with a focus on observability.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
