Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support remote sensor data collection pipelines for space-based RF communication links.
- Store, search, analyze, and manage the lifecycle of terabytes of IQ data from global ground sites.
- Apply geospatial analysis and AI/ML techniques to identify RF-link patterns, issues, and satellite performance anomalies.
- Automate scientific instruments and test cases for antenna pointing, handover scenarios, and direct-to-device link verification.
- Integrate weather and terrain data into link budget prediction models.
- Support direct-to-device integration through test automation, link budget analysis, and hardware/software interface troubleshooting.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of software design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multithreaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience and experience programming in at least one software language.
- Experience with C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
