Responsibilities
- Drive development and optimization of Linux device drivers, firmware modules, and system-level components.
- Architect, design, and develop multimedia and AI frameworks across CPU, DSP, and NPU systems.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and QA teams on integration and delivery.
- Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues spanning hardware and software boundaries.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems, Linux device drivers, or firmware development.
- At least 4 years of professional experience programming in C and C++.
- Experience contributing to open-source projects, particularly the Linux kernel community.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, memory management, and performance optimization.
- Experience with RPC frameworks is preferred.
- Familiarity with ARM SMMU is preferred.
- Knowledge of Linux DMA buffers and memory-sharing mechanisms is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master's degree with 1+ year or a PhD in a related field.
- At least 2 years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
