Base Salary
$122k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain highly reliable full-stack web applications and web interfaces supporting foreign exchange and fixed-income trading platforms.
- Develop interfaces for researching market activity, configuring trading platforms and market participants, and supporting internal business processes.
- Design PostgreSQL data storage schemas and generate reports providing business intelligence insights.
- Automate scanning, identification, and alerting for system health conditions and anomalous activity.
- Apply unit-testing best practices, document relevant details in the team wiki, and use AI responsibly to improve productivity and system reliability.
- Communicate with stakeholders in operations and sales to capture and refine requirements and iterate toward final products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a comparable field.
- At least 2 years of experience with Python, full-stack web development, Django or a similar Python web framework, JavaScript preferably React, PostgreSQL or a similar relational database, Linux/Unix, and Git.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience using AI across the software development lifecycle.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with operations and sales staff.
- Self-directed and self-motivated.
- A master’s degree in computer science or a comparable field and finance industry experience are preferred qualifications.
