Responsibilities
- Own core areas of the localization stack and drive them to production reliability.
- Contribute to the localization and mapping pipeline from sensor integration to deployment.
- Design and build online validation systems to monitor localization integrity.
- Develop tooling for diagnostics, health logging, and post-mission analysis.
- Contribute to regression, validation, and release-gating for localization changes.
- Deploy, test, and iterate using data from real autonomous operations.
Requirements
- 8+ years in robotics or autonomous vehicles with experience in localization systems.
- Deep knowledge of multi-sensor fusion and state estimation techniques.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to drive architecture across teams.
- Strong command of non-linear optimization and filtering techniques.
- Proficient in modern C++ (C++17+) and experienced with Linux and ROS/ROS2.
- Understanding of calibration quality and its impact on localization and safety.
