Base Salary
$176k - $264k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical strategy for the self-service spend management platform
- Architect and write code for flexible budget controls, Budget Settings, and cross-channel spend strategy initiatives
- Build relationships with engineers and Product, Design, and Analytics partners to execute the product vision
- Ensure accuracy and reliability across spend tracking, budget enforcement, and system guardrails
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and one-on-one pairing
- Work with generative AI tools and technology toward future spend recommendations and AI-assisted budget insights
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with .NET and AWS or equivalent cloud technology
- Ability to integrate generative AI tools into daily workflows to automate tasks and improve productivity
- Understanding of building and scaling business-critical backend services, with front-end skills to make them usable
- Experience prioritizing correctness, reliability, observability, and guardrails in money-moving systems
- Strong ownership, entrepreneurial mindset, bias to action, communication, collaboration, humility, and commitment to equitable and inclusive workplaces
