Senior Architect - Commercial Life Sciences (Remote)

Base Salary
$100k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in business process due diligence for customer application implementation projects
- Advise life sciences customers on commercial technology strategy, architecture, best practices, and solution design
- Create end-user requirements and high-quality assessments, health checks, and commercial architecture deliverables
- Analyze and design commercial architecture landscapes involving applications, systems, data integrations, and migrations
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and Veeva colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions
- Meet with senior management and executives as a subject-matter expert and communicate complex concepts to varied audiences
- Provide direction to junior team members and support recruitment efforts
- Develop team capabilities, best practices, and accelerators
- Extend subject-matter expertise in the life sciences industry and Veeva solutions
Requirements
- At least five years of experience working with Commercial IT Architecture in Life Sciences
- Experience with commercial solutions and architecture design, data architecture, and Salesforce effectiveness
- Knowledge and applicable work experience in commercial operations within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- Proven ability to lead colleagues and customers through complex situations
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
- Prior consulting experience is preferred
- Product knowledge of Veeva Commercial Cloud applications is preferred
- Experience with pharmaceutical or medical device companies is preferred
- Knowledge and applicable experience with business process development, SOPs, governance processes, and program management is preferred
- Additional experience with data warehousing, web services, ETL, SQL, Force.com, FTP, and batch CSV integrations is preferred
