Base Salary

$150k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define and own reusable integration patterns between WebMD Ignite products and Epic, covering campaign and contact management, patient portals, patient communications, FHIR-based integration, and AI agent use cases.
  • Serve as the senior technical point of contact for Epic-related client engagements and support sales engineering on new opportunities.
  • Lead discovery, integration design, technical delivery, and onboarding for Epic work across multiple concurrent engagements.
  • Track Epic releases, announcements, partner-program requirements, and marketplace developments and translate them into product and engineering implications.
  • Build organizational Epic fluency through enablement, documentation, and reusable reference architectures.
  • Ensure Epic integrations meet HIPAA, PHI-handling, and client compliance obligations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare systems integration, including hands-on Epic platform experience.
  • Deep knowledge of the Epic platform, including campaign and contact management, patient portals, patient communications, Interconnect, and Bridges.
  • Strong command of HL7 FHIR R4, SMART on FHIR, HL7 v2, C-CDA, and REST APIs.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare, patient privacy, HIPAA, and protected health information handling.
  • Experience with HITRUST or similar compliance frameworks.
  • Client-facing solution architecture experience involving discovery, integration design, and technical leadership across multiple engagements.
  • Excellent communication skills for leading technical discussions with clients and internal teams.
  • Epic certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with an Epic marketplace or partner-program vendor is preferred.
  • Exposure to agentic AI in clinical or patient-engagement workflows and programmatic patient outreach and engagement platforms is preferred.
