Base Salary
$165k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospective and existing customers.
- Demonstrate and communicate Snowflake’s value throughout the sales cycle, from demos and proofs of concept through solution design and implementation.
- Work with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs and develop winning sales-cycle strategies.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and position Snowflake accordingly.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and marketing.
Requirements
- 7–8 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in a pre-sales environment.
- Strong presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including whiteboarding, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Broad experience with large-scale database and data warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, cloud technologies, Data Lake, Data Mesh, or Data Fabric concepts.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
- Ability to connect customers’ business problems with Snowflake solutions.
- Ability to deeply assess customer architecture frameworks and connect them with Snowflake Data Architecture.
- Curiosity about the AI landscape and ability to serve as a technical thought partner for customers.
- Experience using AI code-generation tools to improve productivity and efficiency.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- A master's degree in Data Science or Business Administration is a plus.
- Experience with global system integrators such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture is beneficial but not required.
