Base Salary

$61k - $104k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full stack applications using Java.
  • Build RESTful APIs and microservices for high-volume, low-latency systems.
  • Develop responsive, reusable UI components and integrate them with backend services.
  • Participate in architecture, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Implement security, data protection, and compliance practices for financial systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with support teams on resolution.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation practices.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and QA teams.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
  • Strong work experience with Python.
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and Kafka or RabbitMQ messaging systems.
  • Proficiency with Angular or React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL relational databases.
  • Knowledge of Hibernate or JPA ORM frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Maven or Gradle and version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of software design principles, data structures, and multithreading or concurrency.
  • Preferred experience in financial services, investment banking, or capital markets.
  • Preferred exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP and to Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Preferred knowledge of Redis, Elastic, and profiling tools.
  • Preferred familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Preferred experience with JUnit, Mockito, Cypress, or Selenium.
  • Understanding of secure coding and regulatory or compliance requirements in banking environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and attention-to-detail skills.
