Responsibilities
- Support, install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain InterSystems HealthShare, IRIS, and Caché environments.
- Provide Tier 3 support for HealthShare applications, interoperability services, middleware technologies, and production integration workflows.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation for software delivery, infrastructure, testing, and deployments.
- Manage certificates and support OAuth, SSO, and ADFS authentication and access-management integrations.
- Support healthcare interoperability interfaces using HL7, FHIR, CDA/CCDA, APIs, web services, and related data exchange standards.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, implement proactive reliability improvements, and participate in an on-call rotation for production environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in information technology, healthcare IT, or federal government contracting environments.
- Hands-on experience with InterSystems HealthShare, IRIS, or Caché, including Health Connect, Unified Care Record, Provider Directory, or IRIS for Health components.
- Experience supporting healthcare interoperability solutions and interfaces using HL7, FHIR, CDA/CCDA, web services, APIs, and related standards.
- Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, or similar DevOps automation tools and with developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and with enterprise middleware or healthcare integration platforms in production.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration, Apache, Python scripting, DevOps practices, Agile/SAFe methodologies, and enterprise monitoring solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HealthShare productions, interoperability interfaces, and healthcare integration workflows is valuable.
- Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, or AWS CloudWatch is valuable; AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or similar certification and Department of Veterans Affairs experience are preferred.
- U.S. citizenship, successful completion of a background check, and ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance are required when applicable.
