Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI tools, agent harnesses, and models against NVIDIA engineering workflows using measures such as task success, output quality, reliability, latency, cost, and enterprise readiness.
- Identify opportunities for AI-first solutions and recommend improvements based on hands-on evaluation of modern AI-native tools.
- Design, implement, and validate AI-assisted workflows for coding, testing, code review, and troubleshooting using tools such as Codex, Claude, Cursor, Greptile, and CodeRabbit.
- Develop scalable evaluation pipelines, benchmarks, reference workflows, and developer tooling with reproducibility and failure analysis.
- Optimize training, evaluation, and testing workflows for throughput, latency, performance, and cost.
- Collaborate with AI and engineering-tool vendors to evaluate capabilities, influence roadmaps, resolve adoption issues, and introduce useful features.
- Provide tool and model selection guidance, recommended configurations, workflow examples, onboarding materials, and hands-on training.
Requirements
- MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of work experience.
- Strong understanding of large language models, machine learning, agentic AI, agent harnesses, context, and tool use.
- Hands-on experience evaluating AI tools or models and applying LLMs to software engineering workflows.
- Strong Python software engineering skills, with experience in Java or Go and extensive scripting and automation experience.
- Experience building evaluation pipelines, developer tooling, or full-stack applications involving API integration, data management, and cloud or enterprise deployment.
- Experience with CI/CD setup tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Packer, Terraform, Artifactory, Ansible, or Chef.
- Understanding of distributed systems, microservice architecture, software development, testing, code review, and build workflows.
- Preferred experience with agent harnesses, tool calling, MCP, retrieval-augmented generation, context management, fine-tuning, large-scale distributed tooling, evaluation services, or observability systems.
- Preferred experience rolling out AI tools across engineering teams, collaborating with vendors, and driving measurable adoption and productivity improvements.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, including the ability to work across organizational boundaries.

- Base salary range is USD 224,000–356,500, determined by location, experience, and comparable employee pay.
