Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
- Build and improve full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, databases, and messaging technologies.
- Evolve infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support secure, reliable delivery of digital solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.
- Implement unit testing and secure coding practices to improve software reliability and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Manage risk, strengthen controls, and follow applicable policies, regulations, and codes of conduct.
- Advise and influence technical decisions while resolving problems through analysis and acquired technical experience.
Requirements
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, JUnit, REST, microservices, and test-driven development.
- Experience with Angular for front-end development.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies, including Oracle or MongoDB.
- Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, GitLab, Jira, SonarQube, Prisma, and Wiz in DevSecOps environments.
- Experience with Maven or Gradle and messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka or IBM MQ.
- Experience with rapid application development using AI models or tools such as Claude and GitLab Duo.
- A Computer Science degree or equivalent understanding of computer science, object-oriented design, and data structures.
- In-depth technical knowledge and experience in the relevant area, with the ability to guide colleagues and advise stakeholders.
- Ability to apply secure coding and effective unit testing practices.
