Responsibilities
- Design and implement performant, accessible ServiceNow Portal experiences for end users.
- Develop, test, and deploy small- to medium-sized ServiceNow software solutions, including Employee Center Pro applications.
- Translate business requirements and user stories into functional, scalable software solutions.
- Plan technical and operational models and ensure alignment with system and business requirements.
- Collaborate with technical architects and engineering leads on cross-platform alignment.
- Make UI/UX decisions that satisfy business requirements and accessibility standards.
- Assess the implications of design decisions across interconnected systems.
- Maintain expertise in ServiceNow and web-based user experience tools.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering or development experience, including at least 3 years working on the ServiceNow platform.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Portal technologies, including Employee Center Pro.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Java, REST, XML, HTML, and CSS.
- Understanding of ITIL v3 or later and ITSM best practices.
- Strong communication, writing, presentation, requirements translation, and business-outcome communication skills.
- Experience with multiple platforms and integrations is preferred.
- Advanced ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Systems Administrator or Certified Application Developer, are preferred.
- Additional training in agile, product management, or software engineering is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent work experience.
- A master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration is preferred.
