Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Management to understand requirements and translate them into executable tasks.
- Develop new features, enhance existing functionality, and optimize applications from conception and design through testing and deployment.
- Support the Customer Services team by addressing escalated issues.
- Write clean, high-quality, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Optimize and performance-tune applications.
- Work with and potentially manage globally distributed offshore development teams.
- Design and develop distributed applications, APIs, web services, and asynchronous processing systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience developing SaaS/PaaS products.
- Ability to understand business requirements and provide sound technical designs and solutions using critical thinking.
- Expertise in backend development with the .NET Framework and .NET 6/7.
- Experience with ASP.NET Core and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework and NHibernate.
- Experience with cloud ecosystems, preferably Azure, and familiarity with NoSQL databases and Elasticsearch.
- Experience designing and developing relational databases, preferably SQL Server.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for distributed applications is desirable.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful and SOAP web services is desirable.
- Experience with asynchronous processing, queues, topics, distributed applications, service-oriented architecture, and caching is desirable.
- Experience with agile methodologies and familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Knockout.js are desirable.
