Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve internal tools using Python, Groovy, Shell, or other relevant languages.
- Automate build, testing, deployment, and environment-management processes.
- Maintain and improve CI environments and other DevOps tools.
- Manage virtual infrastructure, including virtual machines, on-premise environments, and cloud platforms.
- Administer and improve virtualized environments such as Proxmox and cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
- Collaborate with software teams on CI/CD, build systems, and automation needs.
- Analyze and improve build systems, dependency trees, compilation chains, and software packaging processes.
- Document tools, processes, and best practices and train users on internal tools and DevOps platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent, or other relevant experience.
- Three to five years of relevant experience in DevOps, software development, continuous integration, automation, or infrastructure management.
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration technologies such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Ability to develop and maintain internal tools using Python, Groovy, Shell, Batch, or other relevant languages.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, automation, software delivery, build systems, software dependencies, and packaging processes.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows environments, virtualized environments, virtual machines, and on-premise infrastructure.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud environments.
- Ability to diagnose complex build, CI/CD, and infrastructure issues and communicate solutions clearly.
- French is mandatory, and functional spoken and written English is required.
- Desired qualifications include Git, GitLab, Proxmox, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, OpenTofu, Conan, Artifactory, Maven, npm, Grafana, and Prometheus experience.
