Responsibilities
- Adhere to high engineering quality standards for reliability and performance.
- Develop new backend features to enhance Peloton's products.
- Build internal infrastructure and tooling to support product features.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers in an agile environment.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture focused on engineer growth.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience building and scaling RESTful microservices.
- Familiarity with data stores like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC, and GraphQL.
- Knowledge of Unit Testing/Test Driven Development.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP.
- Solid understanding of git workflows in GitHub or similar systems.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in e-commerce platforms is a bonus.
