Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and test strategy documents.
- Perform manual, functional, end-to-end, regression, smoke, automation, and web services testing.
- Develop and implement quality control systems and identify areas for product improvement.
- Create defect reports, track defects to resolution, and communicate test results to management.
- Drive testing automation initiatives using scripting, frameworks, and tools.
- Analyze requirements, identify omissions and testing impediments, and forecast high-risk software areas.
- Collaborate with development, business, and other cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and understand requirements.
- Establish collaborative relationships and help ensure successful project test phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
- Four to six years of software testing experience.
- Strong QA background in manual and functional testing.
- Expertise in scripting languages, logical implementations, automation frameworks, and testing tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and Oracle queries.
- Experience preparing test plans and strategy documents, writing test cases, and gathering requirements.
- Experience with web services testing and formal software test design techniques.
- Understanding of QA processes and standards, including functional, end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage conflicts, increase productivity, hire and develop talent, and work effectively with development and business teams.
- Exposure to security and performance testing is preferred.
