Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-volume business logic running on mainframe systems.
- Monitor architecture, identify inefficiencies, and optimize code to maintain mainframe performance.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions supporting mission-critical applications.
- Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services.
- Manage DevSecOps toolchains, including monitoring, incident resolution, patching, and upgrades.
- Apply security scanning, vulnerability management, containerization, cloud, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in a complex and security-focused environment.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and best practices.
- Experience managing DevSecOps toolchains and associated tools.
- Familiarity with Git, Ansible, log management and analysis tools, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and infrastructure as code.
- Knowledge of security scanning and vulnerability management tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication abilities, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Relevant AWS, Azure, or DevOps certifications are preferred; hyperscaler certification may be obtained through Kyndryl.
