Base Salary

$155k - $224k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own the full design lifecycle for data products, including concepts, workflows, wireframes, prototypes, visual design, and micro-interactions.
  • Develop product strategy and roadmaps for data solutions supporting supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing functions.
  • Build and maintain ontologies representing operational objects, properties, links, and actions.
  • Conduct surveys, interviews, usability tests, contextual inquiry, A/B testing, and customer-site research.
  • Use product metrics and analytics to validate decisions, prioritize work, and measure solution impact.
  • Establish and maintain scalable design systems covering typography, color palettes, components, and interactions.
  • Prototype and build products alongside engineers using Palantir Foundry.
  • Define product requirements, data sources, processing needs, analytics capabilities, user stories, and backlog priorities.
  • Oversee product design, development, testing, and deployment while ensuring quality and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, researchers, and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Participate as a leader in Scrum meetings, product sprints, and SAFe processes.
  • Prepare product performance reports and presentations for senior management.

Requirements

  • Experience designing task flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • At least 3 years of experience with taxonomy and ontology development.
  • At least 5 years of experience preparing, conducting, and analyzing user research.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Tableau, SQL, R, and Python analytics tools.
  • At least 5 years of experience with products developed using Agile practices and familiarity with JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
  • Experience working within a Scrum team or similar Agile project environment.
  • Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or a directly related equivalent qualification, or equivalent technical education and experience.
  • Experience with product design and product processes.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with aerospace systems.
  • Preferred qualifications include expert-level hands-on Palantir Foundry experience, experience shipping code or delivering detailed user research, aerospace/supply chain/manufacturing/engineering experience, and 10 or more years in technology or design leadership.
  • Must meet U.S. export control requirements as a U.S. Person and be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, including an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance after starting.
