Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, well-tested production code using maintainable and simple designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teammates to design, build, test, deploy, and maintain software features.
- Apply data structures and algorithms while balancing performance, readability, and cost.
- Use generative artificial intelligence tools appropriately to improve productivity and code quality, while critically evaluating their output.
- Troubleshoot software failures and operational issues and participate in operational support and root-cause analysis.
- Review teammates' code, work on well-scoped backlog tasks, participate in design discussions, and improve documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
