Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable cloud infrastructure, platform services, and deployment systems for 10X improvements in reliability, availability, performance, and efficiency.
- Develop self-service code and end-to-end deployment automation for application stacks using infrastructure-as-code and cloud automation tools.
- Provide the roadmap and technical vision for robust cloud infrastructure and platform growth supporting 99.999% availability.
- Analyze distributed production deployments and improve performance, monitoring, testing, continuous integration, network usage, role management, CDN, domains, and cloud security.
- Build and operate reliable, scalable public-cloud, private-cloud, and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Provide technical influence and strategic partnership across multiple engineering teams, stakeholders, customers, and lead engineers.
- Solve complex cloud infrastructure and systems problems while improving operational excellence and engineering productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 7+ years of total experience are required.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 15+ years of hands-on cloud platform engineering experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in system engineering, Cloud DevOps, Cloud SRE, infrastructure-as-code, or cloud infrastructure engineering is preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience leading system design and architecture using AWS or Azure services is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience building high-performance, highly available, scalable distributed systems and managing infrastructure-as-code is preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience building and managing high-performance hybrid-cloud environments is preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Python or Go, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, AWS, Azure, GCP, and cloud deployment automation is preferred.
- AWS certifications, team-leading experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent cross-group communication are preferred.

- The base pay range is $174,000/year to $299,000/year, with an annual bonus opportunity of 0–20% of base salary.
