Responsibilities
- Lead customer conversations and translate needs into product features and technical plans.
- Design, build, and deploy full-stack applications.
- Advance the product’s AI capabilities using LLM design patterns, vector stores, and related techniques.
- Move prototypes, demos, and MVPs into scalable, reliable, high-quality production systems.
- Make practical architecture decisions and shape product and engineering direction.
- Incorporate customer feedback and make architecture and scaling trade-offs in an early-stage startup environment.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications.
- Full-stack experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and React, plus backend development in Python.
- Hands-on experience with LLM design patterns, vector stores, and model fine-tuning.
- Experience taking products from MVP to production, including customer conversations and product feedback.
- Startup or early-stage company experience with sound architecture and scaling judgment.
- Experience with vector databases or semantic search is relevant.
