Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack product features from customer discovery through production release.
- Develop agent-powered workflows and shared foundations for context, tool use, evaluation, guardrails, and observability.
- Make architectural decisions across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, including performance, security, and developer experience considerations.
- Review AI-assisted code and use frequent releases and customer feedback to improve product quality.
- Contribute to engineering practices, hiring standards, and team processes while working hands-on as an individual contributor.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building and shipping end-to-end product features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- Evidence of strong engineering ability through shipped products, technical leadership, open-source work, or other substantial accomplishments.
- Production experience with TypeScript and Python, plus experience building and deploying applications with React and Next.js.
- Hands-on experience with production LLM applications, retrieval systems, and embeddings, including latency, cost, and quality trade-offs.
- Experience designing reliable LLM workflows with evaluation loops, guardrails, and observability.
- Strong foundations in databases, APIs, and full-stack architecture, with relevant experience in PostgreSQL, Supabase, Vercel, REST or GraphQL, and real-time data integrations.
- Startup or entrepreneurial product-building experience is valued; familiarity with procurement, ERP, or enterprise supply chains is also valued.
- Clear communication, high agency, sound judgment, and comfort working closely with an in-person team.
