Responsibilities

Work as a developer on the Machine Learning team, contributing to technology selection and production code.
Write Python code for microservice architectures.
Contribute to the continuous improvement, scalability, and security of the AI platform.
Develop new product ideas, create executive demos, and potentially contribute to patent applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams through sprint planning, huddles, pair programming, and retrospectives.
Learn under the guidance of a mentor and apply training to real supply chain planning problems.

Be currently enrolled in full-time education or be a recent/upcoming graduate within 12 months of the placement end date.
Have completed at least two years in a Computer Science or Engineering program.
Have hands-on Machine Learning experience through work terms, hackathons, competitions, or similar activities.
Demonstrate curiosity and interest in applying Machine Learning to real-world problems.
Experience with optimization, including linear programming, mixed-integer problems, or solvers, is an asset.
Experience in statistical inference and related concepts is an asset.
Be willing to collaborate, learn continuously, and experiment with new technologies.

Full-time 4- or 8-month placement starting January 2027, with potential extensions after the internship begins.
Ottawa and Toronto employees must work in the office at least three days per week; other Canadian locations are remote.
