Base Salary
$89k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Migrate studio build pipelines from on-premises environments to AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud infrastructure while improving reliability, uptime, and performance.
- Maintain and optimize Unreal Engine Horde and Jenkins build systems across diverse game development teams.
- Standardize Horde and Jenkins deployments while accommodating studio-specific functional requirements.
- Develop build automation scripts and reusable pipeline components.
- Integrate services, plugins, and automation tools into CI/CD workflows.
- Support observability solutions and monitor build ecosystem and cloud service performance metrics.
- Create technical documentation and promote build automation and CI/CD best practices.
- Collaborate with Perforce specialists to maintain reliable source control integration.
- Provide technical support, guidance, and troubleshooting for internal development and build teams.
Requirements
- Practical experience running and maintaining production-level build systems for game development pipelines.
- Hands-on experience migrating build pipelines to AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud infrastructure with a record of maintaining high uptime and performance.
- Experience applying CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps methodologies in software or game development pipelines.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, C#, or similar languages.
- Working knowledge of Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure as code and cloud infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with Puppet or comparable configuration management tools.
- Strong operating-system troubleshooting skills across Windows and Linux.
- Ability to quickly isolate and resolve build pipeline failures.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills across engineers, studios, and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to documentation and continued learning in CI/CD and cloud technologies.
Benefits
- California base pay is $88,700 to $131,300 per year, with potential bonus, equity awards, and medical, financial, and other benefits for eligible regular employees.
