Responsibilities
- Lead URZA deployments end-to-end at customer sites in military and operational environments.
- Configure URZA for customer missions and Concepts of Operations (ConOps).
- Integrate URZA with third-party C2 systems, sensors, software APIs, and external weather, reconnaissance, and intelligence data sources.
- Lead customer technical reviews and operator training while partnering with Mission Leads and Field Operations.
- Diagnose issues across compute, networking, vehicle behavior, and ConOps in degraded field conditions.
- Create reusable runbooks, ConOps templates, deployment guides, and integration playbooks.
- Mentor mid-level Solution Engineers and represent NODA in customer technical reviews.
- At the Solution Architect level, own deployment architecture across concurrent engagements, define reusable integration patterns, and influence the URZA roadmap.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with significant customer-facing or forward-deployed work.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust and advanced Linux fluency.
- Deep networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, UDP, multicast, routing, and field debugging across multiple system layers.
- Demonstrated deployment experience in Department of War, military, or comparable operational environments.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Preferred experience with autonomous systems or unmanned vehicles such as UAS, UGV, USV, or UUV.
- Preferred experience with tactical C2 systems including TAK, Cursor-on-Target, or Link 16, and pub-sub middleware such as Zenoh or DDS.
- Preferred experience integrating sensors, third-party APIs, and external weather, reconnaissance, or intelligence feeds.
- Defense, autonomy, or robotics company experience and exposure to classified, ITAR, or CMMC environments are preferred.
- An active security clearance is preferred.
