Responsibilities
- Lead URZA deployments end-to-end at customer sites in Department of War and military operating environments.
- Configure URZA for customer missions and Concepts of Operations.
- Integrate URZA with third-party C2 systems, sensors, software APIs, and external weather, reconnaissance, and intelligence data sources.
- Lead customer technical reviews and operator training while partnering with Mission Leads and Field Operations.
- Diagnose issues across compute, network, vehicle behavior, and ConOps layers in degraded field conditions.
- Create reusable runbooks, ConOps templates, deployment guides, and integration playbooks.
- Mentor mid-level Solution Engineers and, at the architect level, define integration patterns across multiple engagements and influence the URZA roadmap.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of full-stack engineering experience with significant customer-facing or forward-deployed work.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust and advanced Linux fluency.
- Deep networking knowledge including TCP/IP, UDP, multicast, and routing, with field debugging experience across multiple system layers.
- Demonstrated deployment experience in Department of War, military, or comparable operational environments.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to ITAR regulations, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include hands-on autonomous systems or unmanned vehicle experience; familiarity with TAK, Cursor-on-Target, Link 16, Zenoh, or DDS; experience integrating sensors, third-party APIs, or external data feeds; defense, autonomy, or robotics company experience; classified, ITAR, or CMMC exposure; and an active security clearance.
