Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, enhance, test, and troubleshoot Java and Java EE applications and systems.
- Build React or Angular web interfaces and integrate them with backend services.
- Design, develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful web services and relational database functionality using SQL.
- Use Spring, Hibernate, JSF, Git, and related development tools as applicable to assigned solutions.
- Participate in requirements discussions, technical design, Agile ceremonies, code reviews, defect resolution, and feature delivery.
- Create technical documentation and improve application performance, reliability, maintainability, usability, scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Investigate application, integration, data, and performance issues and implement timely fixes.
- Communicate technical decisions, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress while managing assigned development priorities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Java software development experience is required; the role targets candidates with 5–10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong Java and Java EE development experience with enterprise or web-based applications.
- Experience with React or Angular, JavaScript or TypeScript, and component-based frontend development.
- Experience with one or more of Spring, Hibernate, or JSF.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, database integration, and query or data troubleshooting.
- Experience developing or integrating RESTful web services.
- Experience using Git or an equivalent version control system and working with software development lifecycle activities.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies, code reviews, testing, debugging, technical documentation, and defect resolution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with both React and Angular, cloud environments, automated testing, build and deployment tools, monitoring, logging, application performance, accessibility, responsive design, secure development, and related certifications or training.
