Principal Engineer - Test Automation (CDMS)

Responsibilities
- Learn and understand Veeva Vault platform and application features.
- Develop and maintain API and UI test automation scripts for regression testing.
- Design, develop, and manage scalable automated testing artifacts and solutions.
- Perform code reviews, mentor team members, and help establish code-quality metrics.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to test automation.
- Lead multiple implementations and automation projects while contributing to project and program management.
- Test web applications, RESTful APIs, HTTP web services, and mobile applications.
- Use Git, Jenkins, and JIRA in daily CI/CD workflows.
- Collaborate with managers, scrum masters, and distributed teams on planning, backlog grooming, and automation requirements.
- Contribute to recruiting initiatives for Veeva Hyderabad.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software test automation.
- Strong technical leadership, project management, QA process, testing methodology, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong experience with Java, object-oriented methodologies, Selenium, and Cucumber.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs, HTTP web services, JSON/XML, and web-based applications.
- Experience with mobile testing and automation using Appium, XCUI, Espresso, and KI.
- Experience with Android and iOS mobile app development, including Kotlin, Swift, Java, and React.
- Experience with data analytics and log analysis tools such as Kibana and Elasticsearch.
- Experience leading automation projects, mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and participating in program or project management.
- Knowledge of software development practices including IDEs, source control, build processes, release management, and deployment.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and onshore/offshore collaboration.
- Experience working for a product-based company.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
- Experience with Android and Mac platforms is preferred.
