Base Salary
$90k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain secure native iOS applications using Swift with limited oversight.
- Architect clean and maintainable mobile codebases using modern design patterns.
- Provide technical leadership and iOS design recommendations in accordance with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
- Collaborate with backend developers, UX/UI designers, product owners, teammates, and end users.
- Participate in sprint and release planning, artifact creation, sprint and regression testing, demonstrations, retrospectives, and solution releases.
- Analyze and solve mobile challenges involving offline synchronization, data encryption, and performance optimization.
- Resolve defects, ensure application quality and delivery timeliness, and provide periodic performance reports.
- Mentor and provide code-review guidance to mid-level and junior mobile team members.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a CBP background investigation, including checks related to felony convictions, illegal drug use, and theft or fraud.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of related software engineering experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on native iOS application development.
- Strong native Swift experience and familiarity with Agile software development practices.
- Availability for a hybrid work schedule in Ashburn, Virginia.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Swift, Xcode, SwiftUI, UIKit, Cocoa Touch, mobile streaming, AVFoundation, interactive live data, object-oriented and protocol-oriented design, GCD, Async/Await, ARC, Git, GitFlow, secure mobile storage, keychain management, and secure network communication.
- Preferred experience includes Android development with Kotlin or Java, Ionic, React Native, CoreData, SQLite, Fastlane, Jenkins, Xcode Cloud, GitLab CI, App Store Connect, TestFlight, AWS, and live interactive chat features.
