Responsibilities
- Provide second- and/or third-level support by analyzing, troubleshooting, and correcting incidents and problems across SAP S/4HANA applications and integrations.
- Refine user stories, design technical solutions, perform ABAP development and unit testing, and support end-to-end validation of new features.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP objects using OO ABAP, BAPI, CDS views, and cloud-compliant development approaches aligned with clean-core principles.
- Analyze and support integration patterns including APIs and OData services in collaboration with functional, CPI, Basis, and security teams.
- Own assigned project deliverables across design, build, test, deployment, hypercare, and transition to operations.
- Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, approved changes, transports, releases, and operational documentation in line with ITSM standards.
- Guide, coach, and train team members in ABAP development, S/4HANA technical design, and support practices.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on SAP development and integration experience, including SAP S/4HANA application development.
- Strong technical knowledge of OO ABAP, BAPI, CDS views, and cloud-compliant development practices.
- Experience with SAP technical analysis, debugging, testing, code quality, transport handling, and documentation.
- Knowledge of integration patterns such as APIs and OData services; SAP BTP or RAP exposure is advantageous.
- Preferable functional understanding of SAP S/4HANA MM and surrounding modules including SD, TM, and FI/CO.
- Knowledge and practical experience with ITSM incident, problem, change, and service request management.
- Strong analytical thinking, ownership, customer orientation, and clear communication in English.
- Experience with SAP BTP, RAP, Fiori/UI5 integration scenarios, or clean-core extensibility concepts is desirable.
- Experience with SAP development tools, ATC quality checks, Git-based workflows, CI/CD, or DevOps practices is desirable.
- SAP ABAP, S/4HANA, or BTP certification and German, Spanish, or Mandarin language skills are additional advantages.
