Base Salary

$130k - $170k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests across desktop, mobile, backend services, and integrations.
  • Integrate automated regression checks into CI/CD and establish dependable release gates.
  • Explore real-world voice workflows, permissions, device and network changes, cross-application behavior, and product updates.
  • Prioritize testing by risk, investigate failures, and make release recommendations using test results, telemetry, and customer impact.
  • Partner with engineering, product, design, and support to improve coverage based on requirements, incidents, and escaped defects.
  • Set testing standards, coach QA team members and testing partners, coordinate coverage, and remain hands-on.

Requirements

  • Experience owning testing for complex software and building or maintaining reliable automated test suites.
  • Ability to write readable test code, build fixtures and test harnesses, debug failures, and maintain reliable CI automation.
  • Ability to reason across clients, APIs, operating systems, and integrations and determine when to use mocks, real devices, and end-to-end checks.
  • Strong investigation skills, including reproducing bugs, using logs and evidence to isolate causes, and distinguishing product failures from test or environment failures.
  • Product-minded attention to usability, responsiveness, accessibility, trust, and user-impacting risks.
  • Clear communication, coaching ability, and experience leading hands-on quality processes.
  • Experience with native apps, audio, speech recognition, or AI output evaluation is a plus.
