Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the planning, design, and development of new software solutions.
- Partner with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions.
- Support code-base merging across multiple project streams and promote coding best practices.
- Solve complex technical problems and contribute to technical innovation.
- Define coding standards and design scalable, secure, maintainable software.
- Build or maintain cloud-native applications and troubleshoot distributed systems.
- Mentor software development team members and support software development best practices.
- Comply with company policies and standards and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 8+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience with Java, Python, and/or JavaScript UI frameworks.
- Experience with AngularJS or ReactJS and software development lifecycle practices.
- Experience with microservice architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, and REST, gRPC, and GraphQL protocols.
- Experience drafting coding practices and designing scalable, secure, maintainable software solutions.
- Knowledge of caching technologies, database management systems, and database schema design.
- Experience building large-scale platforms handling real-time complex transactions and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with AWS core services and cloud-native applications; AWS Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes experience is a plus.
