Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Java and Node.js microservices for complex business workflows.
- Debug and optimize backend services, APIs, data models, stored procedures, and event-driven systems.
- Build secure, responsive user interfaces with AngularJS and advanced JavaScript.
- Configure, deploy, monitor, and tune cloud-native services on AWS.
- Manage Kafka topics, producers, and consumers for high-throughput event streaming.
- Apply secure coding practices, conduct code reviews, improve automated testing, and enhance CI/CD and deployment automation.
- Analyze production incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective reliability improvements.
- Create technical documentation and mentor engineers on design, implementation, and testing practices.
- Collaborate with product, testing, and operations teams on requirements, technical planning, and releases.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and developing Java and Node.js services backed by PostgreSQL and SQL databases.
- Strong proficiency with Kafka and microservices patterns for scalable, event-driven solutions.
- Advanced skills in AngularJS and JavaScript for interactive frontend experiences.
- Proven experience configuring AWS environments, deployments, and monitoring resources.
- Hands-on expertise with PL/SQL and MySQL development for reporting, transactions, and integrations.
- Knowledge of code review, automated testing, continuous integration, and modern software engineering practices.
- Effective communication skills for translating requirements into technical designs and providing delivery updates.
- AWS Certified Developer Associate or equivalent cloud certification is preferred.
