Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the planning, design, development, testing, and implementation of new software solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions that meet product needs.
- Contribute hands-on software development and support merging code bases across multiple project streams.
- Solve complex technical problems and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable software.
- Define coding standards and contribute to technical innovation and software development best practices.
- Build or maintain cloud-native applications and large-scale platforms supporting complex real-time transactions.
- Troubleshoot distributed systems and contribute to database schema design.
- Mentor and support software development team members.
- Comply with company policies and standards and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 8+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience.
- Experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript UI frameworks.
- Experience with AngularJS or ReactJS.
- Experience with microservice architecture and end-to-end UI/API integration.
- Knowledge of API protocols including gRPC and GraphQL.
- Experience drafting coding best practices and designing highly scalable, secure, and maintainable software.
- Knowledge of caching technologies and database management systems including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience building or maintaining cloud-native applications and large-scale platforms handling complex real-time transactions.
- Experience troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS core services; AWS Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
