Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Provision and manage S3, CloudTrail, IAM, networking, service discovery, and IP address management services.
- Build and manage VPCs, subnets, routing, NAT and internet gateways, VPC endpoints, Transit Gateway, CloudWAN, VPC peering, and RAM sharing.
- Configure Route 53, AWS Cloud Map, and IPAM pools and allocations.
- Implement AWS security, compliance, logging, auditing, and governance controls.
- Develop reusable Terraform modules and maintain remote state and locking practices.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, connectivity, networking, and IAM issues across multi-account environments.
- Integrate and align cloud infrastructure with security, governance, and least-privilege principles.
Requirements
- 13+ years of total professional experience.
- 3–6+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
- Strong hands-on Terraform experience, including reusable modules, state management, remote backends, locking, and multi-account deployments.
- Deep knowledge of AWS networking, including VPC design, routing, segmentation, Transit Gateway, CloudWAN, VPC endpoints, and private connectivity.
- Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, security policies, permission boundaries, SCPs, logging, and auditing.
- Experience with multi-account AWS environments and hands-on AWS Config, Security Hub, and VPC sharing through RAM.
- Experience in regulated, banking, enterprise, or compliance-heavy environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS Control Tower governance, CloudWAN architecture, centralized logging and audit accounts, CI/CD pipeline integrations, and OIDC or identity federation patterns.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification is required.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, AWS Certified Security Specialty, and HashiCorp Terraform Associate certifications are preferred or beneficial.
