Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain production-ready features across .NET/C# and Azure.
  • Design relational schemas and efficient SQL queries while contributing to scalable architecture and data-flow decisions.
  • Participate in architecture and design reviews and provide technical input on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Use code review, testing, and performance diagnostics to prevent defects and technical debt.
  • Pair with less experienced developers, provide substantive code review feedback, and contribute to their growth.
  • Identify technical risks and blockers early and take on increasingly complex technical problems.

Requirements

  • Solid working expertise in modern .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, async/await patterns, and API design.
  • Experience designing relational schemas and writing efficient SQL queries with Azure SQL or SQL Server.
  • Some experience operating cloud-hosted systems on Azure and understanding scalability and performance tradeoffs.
  • Ability to contribute to architecture and design discussions and communicate technical risks clearly.
  • Interest in mentoring developers through pairing and code review.
  • Preferred: experience leading design or architecture discussions and aligning teams on technical direction.
  • Preferred: formal developer mentoring experience, familiarity with regulated or compliance-driven financial software, and interest in progressing toward Principal-level technical ownership.
  • Preferred: strong frontend engineering skills with TypeScript, Angular, and modern state-management patterns.
