Base Salary
$128k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy AI-powered applications, multi-step and multi-agent workflows, RAG solutions, and intelligent workflow automations.
- Design scalable backend services and APIs with Python frameworks and integrate enterprise systems, databases, event streams, and approved APIs.
- Develop end-to-end solutions spanning backend services, data platforms, integrations, and user-facing web interfaces.
- Implement authentication, authorization, secrets management, auditability, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, tracing, alerting, and performance optimization.
- Partner directly with business and technical stakeholders to translate business needs into maintainable technical solutions and communicate tradeoffs.
- Contribute reusable platform components, libraries, and software assets while using AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production-grade applications and services.
- Experience building scalable backend services and APIs with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Experience deploying and operating applications in cloud or enterprise environments and integrating systems through APIs, databases, event-driven architectures, or service-oriented platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies, automated testing, distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and reliability patterns.
- Experience developing software that incorporates LLM capabilities, structured prompting, tool calling, validation, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Hands-on experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings, and AI grounding strategies.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration platforms such as Temporal, Airflow, or Celery and messaging technologies such as Kafka or cloud-native messaging services.
- Knowledge of API gateways, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, secure enterprise integration, authentication, authorization, secrets management, audit controls, observability, and monitoring.
- Strong system design, object-oriented programming, data modeling, architecture, Python, API design, relational database, SQL, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
