Responsibilities
- Collect product requirements and design inputs from various teams.
- Develop firmware that meets product requirements and complies with FDA standards.
- Collaborate with electrical, hardware, and software engineers.
- Design and implement firmware testing plans for verification and validation.
- Create documentation describing firmware architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- 3+ years of experience in firmware development across the full product life cycle.
- Knowledge of medical device development processes and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in building relationships across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 62304 and FDA regulations.
- Expert proficiency in C and Python.
