Base Salary
$150k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design high-level software architecture for vehicle integration and test operations.
- Coordinate across engineering teams to create software testing infrastructure based on testing and production needs.
- Integrate ground software and flight software into test infrastructure.
- Design scalable test code reusable across testing campaigns and vehicle generations.
- Refine electrical engineering specifications to validate critical flight components.
- Support development from proposal development through successful test and flight.
- Implement ground control and telemetry software.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical engineering, or equivalent background knowledge.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with Python or another high-level object-oriented scripting language.
- At least 2 years of experience with Linux and shell command-line tools.
- At least 2 years of experience with version control systems such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
- Hands-on design and development experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience reading schematics and data sheets and debugging circuits that interface with embedded software, from debugger through logic analyzer and oscilloscope.
- Experience with web development frameworks and databases is a bonus.
