Responsibilities
- Own and execute the strategy for HIL software infrastructure.
- Build software frameworks for automated testing, hardware control, and machine emulation.
- Create observability, reporting, and integration tools for the HIL fleet.
- Scale HIL software infrastructure across multiple machine types and platform generations.
- Develop core onboard platform test suites for performance benchmarking.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven history of building internal tools and frameworks.
- Experience with HIL systems in robotics, automotive, or high-performance embedded systems.
- Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of Rust or C++.
- Comfortable automating hardware and debugging across hardware/software boundaries.
- Track record of leading projects and driving design decisions.
