Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications and backend microservices using Java and Angular.
- Build scalable RESTful services and backend integrations.
- Develop high-performance user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, and SCSS.
- Apply object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns to produce maintainable code.
- Implement unit and integration testing.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and production issues.
- Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of backend development experience using Java, with Java 11/17+ preferred.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with microservices architecture and dependency injection frameworks such as Spring, Guice, or Dagger.
- Knowledge of asynchronous and non-blocking programming.
- Strong experience with RxJS, Reactive Forms, and component-based architecture.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS/Sass.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including ACID transactions, query optimization, and database performance.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, and Karma.
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Upper-intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include Angular 16/17, Standalone Components, Signals, OnPush Change Detection, Angular Material, CDK, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, cloud platforms, Monorepo architectures, Feature Flags, large-scale distributed systems and databases, and e-commerce, pricing, or promotions solutions.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
