Responsibilities
- Add features to Pitchup’s customer- and campsite-focused website using Vue.js.
- Work with team members and the Product Owner to suggest, design, and develop UI and UX changes.
- Suggest and implement front-end architectural changes and contribute to design documents, discussions, and plans.
- Help improve development practices and deliver production code quickly.
Requirements
- At least 3–5+ years of experience as a front-end developer, ideally in a scaling business.
- Demonstrable proficiency in TypeScript, Vue.js, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Understanding of adaptive and responsive website development.
- Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha, and Chai.
- Understanding of front-end workflow and tooling such as Grunt, Gulp, Yeoman, and Yarn.
- Ability to solve problems systematically and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively, self-motivate, and plan and prioritize effectively.
- Experience working as part of an Agile development team.
- Knowledge of the online travel agency sector is desirable.
- Awareness of modern front-end development, including the advantages and disadvantages of BFFs and micro-frontends, is desirable.
- Experience working with internal and third-party APIs is desirable.
- A degree in a related discipline is desirable.
