Responsibilities
- Design and implement large-scale, secure, highly available distributed systems for a Generative AI platform.
- Build, maintain, and enhance RESTful web services on AWS or GCP, including services built with Spring Boot.
- Develop and improve RAG systems, including embedding, chunking, and data ingestion pipelines.
- Work with agentic frameworks, vector databases, and data platforms to support GenAI workflows.
- Collaborate across teams and organizations to define responsibilities, scope, and technical solutions.
- Debug complex production and cross-platform issues, optimize performance, and improve ML workflow accuracy.
- Create design proposals, analyze production issues, and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience with Java or Python.
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable, highly available distributed systems handling high data volumes.
- Understanding of concurrency, multithreading, design patterns, debugging, and analytical methodologies.
- Experience building, maintaining, or enhancing RESTful web services using AWS or GCP.
- Extensive understanding of LLMs, RAG, or agentic workflows.
- Preferred experience with GenAI systems, RAG embedding or chunking, and agentic frameworks such as LangChain or AutoGPT.
- Preferred experience with RAG data ingestion pipelines, vector databases, Snowflake, Spark, or Flink.
- Preferred understanding of REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs and authentication using OAuth or API keys.
- Preferred experience with Spring Boot for cloud-based RESTful services.
- Preferred knowledge of software design principles such as SOLID and DRY and testing frameworks such as Pytest or Jest.
- Preferred ability to debug and improve ML workflow tuning for high accuracy.
- Strong written and oral communication, self-direction, motivation, attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving ability.
