Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and strategic vision for team initiatives.
- Drive long-term architectural scalability and innovation.
- Collaborate with Product and Development teams to build new features.
- Mentor junior engineers and enable team effectiveness through delegation.
- Help scale Coupa platforms while balancing codebase consolidation and microservices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Proven track record of technical leadership and managing complex project lifecycles.
- Experience in creating frameworks that improve system stability and prevent technical debt.
- Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills.
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
- Good understanding of common design patterns.
- Experience with React.js or similar JavaScript frameworks and CSS.
- MySQL and general database knowledge, including performance and optimization.
