Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver end-to-end full-stack software solutions across UI, APIs, and data layers.
- Build scalable, maintainable, cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, modern architecture, and scalable system design.
- Develop and consume REST APIs and integrate application components using API standards.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, business analysts, designers, and engineers to define requirements, assess feasibility, and plan delivery.
- Support sprint planning and estimation and own committed work through completion.
- Implement unit and integration testing, code reviews, secure coding, and continuous improvement practices.
- Ensure production-ready, observable, resilient releases through monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and nonfunctional quality standards.
- Apply cybersecurity practices including risk assessment, controls, security awareness, incident management, and adoption of emerging security solutions.
- Use AI-assisted developer tools and contribute to technology communities, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Full Stack Engineer building cloud-native applications with Java, Spring Boot, and modern architecture.
- Strong experience with AI-assisted developer tools such as GitLab Duo, GitHub Copilot, and Claude.
- Proficiency developing and consuming REST APIs, with hands-on experience in CI/CD, GitLab, SonarQube, and Wiz.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB and with scalable system design.
- Experience building features with Java 21+, Spring Boot 3.x, Angular, and React/Next.js.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools such as CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
- Experience with Kafka, API standards, OpenAPI, or TypeSpec and production observability practices.
- Experience with JUnit 5 and Cucumber BDD for unit and integration testing.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, technical expertise, and collaboration skills.
- Financial services or technology experience is valued.
- Knowledge of Python, GenAI, agentic frameworks, LLMs, AI agents, NLP, conversational AI, prompt engineering, and spec-driven development with AI development agents is valued.
