Base Salary

$103k - $188k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop full-stack software across front-end and back-end systems.
  • Create technical documentation and memoranda covering complex digital-asset topics.
  • Collaborate with financial auditors to design and implement techniques for testing financial-statement assertions related to digital assets.
  • Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative solutions for client implementations and core product offerings.
  • Research emerging practices in public blockchains, smart contracts, and digital assets and identify opportunities to apply them.
  • Work effectively with client engagement teams and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of related application development experience.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications.
  • Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript development and technologies such as Node.js, Express, React, or Angular.
  • Experience with Ethereum and Solidity or other protocols such as Hyperledger or Solana.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha; NoSQL and SQL databases; Git or other source-control software; container technologies such as Docker or Podman; and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Previous development experience in Agile teams and strong written and verbal communication skills for technical writing and client presentations.
  • Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary, with access to reliable transportation to EY offices and client sites.
  • Open-source contributions, especially in the digital-asset ecosystem, and accounting or financial-auditing experience are preferred.
