Base Salary

$388k - $558k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale orchestration services, CLI tools, device fleets, and observability for the Netflix TVUI CI platform.
  • Support large-scale screenshot, end-to-end, performance, and on-device test execution.
  • Develop test orchestration and execution pipelines using parallelization, sharding, and predictive test selection.
  • Build test frameworks, improve test stability, mitigate flakiness, and optimize test-pipeline performance.
  • Scale and tune test execution across device pools and own reliability and incident response for operated systems.
  • Instrument systems deeply and drive strategic test-infrastructure investments across a diverse device ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with TVUI engineers and define project scope, architecture, trade-offs, and implementation details.

Requirements

  • Experience operating distributed test infrastructure at scale.
  • Experience with test orchestration and execution pipelines, including parallelization, sharding, or predictive test selection.
  • Experience building test frameworks and mitigating test instability or flakiness.
  • Familiarity with UI test frameworks and automation, such as Puppeteer, Playwright, Jest, or Vitest.
  • Experience scaling and tuning test performance across device pools.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, BuildKite, or GitHub Actions.
  • Strong ownership of reliability and incident response for owned systems.
  • Experience optimizing test-pipeline runtime performance and working with agentic PR/CI workflows.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Ability to design maintainable, performant software and collaborate effectively with other engineers.
