Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end testing pipelines with pre-merge checks, nightly runs, release gates, and production gates.
- Define a sustainable quality strategy for AI-generated code, including risk prioritization and coverage requirements.
- Set up continuous automated UI testing across browsers and mobile devices, including AI-agent-driven testing.
- Evaluate, select, and integrate external testing tools and services.
- Own technical product reliability, with particular focus on critical financial flows.
- Collaborate with engineers and DevOps to embed quality into development processes and balance delivery speed with safety.
- Use AI agents to create, maintain, and evolve tests and testing tooling.
- Drive quality initiatives and share testing best practices with the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and owning testing processes for large, complex products with high reliability requirements, as a QA Architect, senior QA/SDET, or senior engineer responsible for testing strategy.
- Strong engineering background, including understanding of system architecture, backend services, CI/CD, and deployment processes.
- Hands-on experience with test automation and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Daily experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar tools.
- Genuine interest in AI-first development.
- Ability to work autonomously, define solutions for loosely specified problems, and drive them to completion.
- Willingness to work as a hands-on individual contributor in a small senior team.
- Fluent Russian.
