Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement of software process effectiveness and efficiency.
- Support engineering teams in developing, optimizing, and implementing compliant processes.
- Manage operating rhythms to improve software First Pass Yield and reduce defect escape rates.
- Act as a release gatekeeper to ensure processes are followed and design rigor is applied.
- Develop and maintain metrics and measurement systems for continuous improvement.
- Perform failure analysis for non-conformances and develop corrective solutions to prevent recurrence and quality escapes.
- Audit adherence to documented standards, processes, and procedures.
- Provide leadership for process improvements, governance, measurements, and audit supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- At least four years of experience in software development, implementation, and/or quality.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Understanding of Process Assurance activities, including process audits and corrective and preventive actions.
- Ability to lead by influence in a matrix environment and communicate with technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Preferred: seven years of experience in software design, systems, or test.
- Preferred: familiarity with Five Whys, Fish Bone Diagrams, Fault Tree Analysis, ISO requirements, safety-critical software development, CENELEC compliance, and CMMI requirements.
- Preferred: lead auditor certification.
